Is it possible to adapt these to work with the apcs? Do you have any plans to? I've been hunting around for stuff like this but there doesn't seem to be much love for the APC20 so far. Cheers.

In this video Tom Cosm shows his approach of a non-m4l-sequencer: http://vimeo.com/14439310
(the last 5 mins or so)

He uses 8 miditracks that send midi notes to a receive track.
Each track plays its midinote at an other time (1st track: 8th note,2nd miditrack: 2nd 8th note, ...)The LP-buttons are mapped to the mutes of each track.

This makes me wonder: how do you do make the LP-buttons light up when you press a button and turn off when pressed again(muted track)?

Cheers

EDIT: I just tried it.... it works just fine by itself in Usermode1... lights go on if you unmute and go off if you mute. Cool stuff... should be really easy to do a dual-LP-sequencer now.

Oh yeah baby !

The new aurex device is here !

The SampleDeck is a realtime sampling and remix device for the Novation Launchpad.
It uses 2 'samplers' to capture a loop while your song is playing and you have the ability to switch the audio to one of the samplers at any time you want. The Remix Sampler samples a 1 bar or 1/2 bar loop, it chops it up in slices and let's you rearrange the slices in any way you want. The Flex Sampler samples a loop (as long as you like) and let's you do Vinyl-like actions such as stopping/starting the plate, doing a backspin, reversing, ... You can remix and transform everything you want: just a loop, full songs when dj-ing or even a realtime input to remix a live band on the fly. On top of that, SampleDeck also includes an effects section to spice things up.
I included a manual to explain all of it's functions and buttons :)

You don't need M4L / Bome / ... to use this, just make sure you have a Launchpad and Live 8.1.3 or higher.

Donations: As with all the other aurex sequencers, you can download SampleDeck completely for free.
However, as I put a lot of time and energy into them, I would really appreciate it if you made a donation. This way, I can continue to make new sequencers, write manuals for all and even make them available for the APC20.
Just click the “Donate” button on the website (http://aurexmusic.com/downloads).
The money transfer is handled by Paypal and completely secured.
Thanks !

Great job. Just to let you know for some reason it did not seem to work in the newest beta. Works fine in the 8.1.5.

Either way love how the fast the performance flow is.

I read somewhere that you were going to port these to the apc 20. That would be stellar if you could make it to where we could tweak it to work with the apc 40 as well.

Once again great job on your four contributions!!

Edit: just saw there was a new beta as of today so this might not be an issue, Will try later tonight

Is it possible to use multiple these in same live set and change which track launchpad control?

Thanks very much for these "apps".

Mate these are all genius!

You are also very generous giving them away, you could easily have charged for them.

Just dling and watching the youtubes now. Look a bit complicated but loads of fun.

Will donate some cash next month when not skint.

Thanks a lot !

Thx man !

Would appreciate donations, until now I have 2 persons who donated (thanks!).
The problem is that with only 2 donations I can't invest much more time in my sequencers, so the manuals and another sequencer idea I have will take some time but I'll do my best to keep up.

1) Thanks a lot for your 4 UNITS ! Can't donate at this point but as soon as I get money for gig, I'll think of you !
2) The question has been relevant: Could we use your 4 units (and future one) in the same project ?

I'm sure the answer is yes ! What about using the Automap function for your device ? The dspproject show how to use it. It seems really powerful ! At this point I'm looking to jam like Tom Cosm notes + with your stuff + LPC nativeKontrol. At this point, I guess it's more than enough to have fun !

3) Your RACKS could have better LED feedbacks ex. like having the SEQ step lighting on every step. But I'll forgive you

Thanks a lot for sharing you hard work. Your UNITS rocks.

Cheers
