I wanted to sell this desktop and buy a new apple macbook pro 15" i5
but looks like it's still performing better than those machines, even if it's 4 years old!

with latest edirol driver set to 432 samples (512 samples is N/A) :

ehm... Imac 27" i7 is a Hyperthreaded Quad core. Not a dual core. That's only in the macbook pro's...

edit: I was wondering what my I5 scored at, and it is similar. I'm on page 19... :)

I thought that the difference between the two sound cards was significant enough I should repost. No hardware changes except the soundcard. As you can see the M-Audio card makes a big difference. It's nice having the inputs too.

ok, the hard did not change but all the software were modified :
Windows XP SP2 (32bit) to Windows 7 64Bit
Ableton Live version: 8.0.4 to 8.1.5
and the soundcard driver !
