I just got a new Mac Pro this week, a hexacore 3.33 Ghz. So far so good, but lot's of configuring to do. It's a big jump for me, from PPC and 10.4.11 to Intel and 10.6.4. Lot's of little things that I'm going to have to find different ways of doing.

I ran the Live performance test and posted results yesterday. Very fast. My whole life in computer based music is setting up a system, loving it, and then slowly hitting the limits of the technology. Not enough speed, room, compatibility, etc. Right now, it's like a nice strong breeze has cleared everything out. Hopefully another few days to get things organized, and then back to music.
