Hi bit of a ableton novice but i'm currently learning the system - i have a mac book pro, live intro, apc40 and a audio 2 dj sound card. The sound card in a recent addition but i'm having trouble working out how to set it up so i have a master out and the other channel for monitoring. Can anyone help me out?

In Lives audio preferences - select "output config" for your soundcard - and make sure that 1/2 stereo and 3/4 stereo are active..
THEN you will be able to select 1/2 as master output and 3/4 as cue output (it's on the righthand side in the master track column, may have to open the i-o tab)
If you would like to hear the master output thru the headphones make a track with the input FROM master and output TO - Ext 3/4
