Oscilloscope / Waveform preview

I think it would be great to have a plug-in with Oscilloscope and Output Waveform Preview , that works similar to Mexoscope http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1qPFjEZtlM but better, because Mexoscope is hard to sync with BPM

yeah please add a beat grid synced to the master bpm as a layover (like you have when you look at a audio file in ableton) so that you can see if you sound is hitting on the 1., 2. or on 1.3 etc.

Sorry if this isn't fully related (had a few beers already) but what about this:
Its a Max for Live effect which might come close to what you're aiming at. At least I conclude as much from the link you pasted since the VST in there is also in my collection. One of the reasons I build this critter

This looks very interesting, please tell me, can you set your plugin to show bigger portion of audio like 1 or 2 bars? And show it synced to track tempo?
