I opened a previous project which had an awesome kick and bass, then deleted all the channels except for 1 and 2, and saved the liveset. Of course I didn't choose "Save as...", but "Save", so my full previous 8 minute track is now replaced with two kick/bass-channels.
So: Is there any way to get it back?

Overwritten save file!?
Re: Overwritten save file!?
Hello,
No, sorry.
It´s quite the same as with all other programs: Save does save the current status, empties the undo history
and overwrites a previous version of the same name - this is quite common procedure among most computer
programs.
Since it seems that some people do have similar issues, we might think about a more "safe" save.
Best,
Christian

Yeah, the same thing also happened to me today. I set to myself to click to "save as" button but after 10 seconds I clicked to the "save" unfortunately.
+1 for safer saving options
