Actually, Gerhard's very busy straightening boxes and making sure no U.S. GMO's have entered the lunchroom.......

Constructive complaining to developers can sometimes improve things. There's nothing wrong with requesting features or highlighting bugs.

When did it become cool to be insecure Ableton fanboys who get overly sensitive about people discussing strengths of other tools in comparison to Live?

From the first post:
Constructive criticism and actual suggestions for improvements are one thing. A potentially great thing, actually, and something that can bring about good changes to the product. But making a topic just to bash for the sake of bashing is something else altogether, and personally I don't think it has a place on the boards.

OMG THEY'RE HATING ON MY ABLETONS OMG WHAT DO I DOOOOOO

You can tell who's out in front by the number of arrows in his back.

I have a big list of complains regarding ableton, I'm not a fan boy, I'm missing basic features, but bottom line is that I still really like it even if I use other sequencer too. regarding the company, thing could always be better, but please be realistic, compare ableton to others and then judge again. They are not perfect, but they do things better then others, that's my experience since a long time.

^ heh, there's loads of those new media douchebags round here, isn't there?

before the internet what did these people do? where did they go to bitch and complain about stuff?
there seems to be such a lot of wasted energy on the net with people whining and fighting with each other when they
could be off doing something productive with their time instead.

the pub - but would often go home in a paddy wagon after upsetting someone's sensibilities from too much consumption of alcohol or knuckle sandwich.

What happens here happens on every forum, deal with it - have a moan, be a fanboy or keep your nose clean and stay out. People who write things like 'these threads are pointless' are being THE MOST pointless - walk on by and do something constructive like basket weaving or wanking with a silk glove in a public place where you might get caught if you want a thrill.

 yes - but you persist in intervening to state the obvious, like a wannabe moderator ... say something constructive to the thread, or stay out of it. Those are the best choices.

persist? one post isn't persisting. if that's your idea of persisting then you're not very...persistent
