Corrupted Arrangement that will no longer open

Post by Isomer » Sun Feb 16, 2003 9:13 pm

So I am using Live 2.0 in MAC OSX. I have been composing a song entirely in the arrangement view. Everything was going fine, then Live "unexpectedly quit" So when I rebooted Live it asked me if I wanted to recover the Arrangement I was working on. I agreed, it took me there. And I then saved it so I could salvage up to the point of what it had remembered. So I simply "replaced" this file with the old one. Then I finished working with it etc.

Now if I ever try to open the song, it refuses to. It says that Apparantly this was created by a more recent version of Live. In the browser, if I preview some of the loops from the song they are still there and it is fine. But I can't open the arrangement. Live now has something against this one song. Anything I can do? What's the problem here?

Hi Isomer,

there was a bug in Live 2.0.1 that under rare conditions a restored document could be corrupted. This bug is out in the latest Live 2.0.2 version.

regards,
Alex

I see, so even though it is corrupted now. Once I upgrade to 2.02 the doc should be fine...gotta go upgrade.
