How do I override the clip view quantize settings?
How do I override the clip view quantize settings?
Let's say I've got my global quantize set to 1 bar, playing in the clip view. I just clicked the wrong play button and I wanna stop the clip immediately, without waiting for the bar to complete. Is there a way to quickly override the quantization and stop the clip at once?

I, like the above goonish poster, am also curious.

Don't know if there's a more sensible way but if it's a major issue you could have a blank clip in the track with launch quantise set to 'none'. Hit that to stop any other clip instantly.
Or you could mute the track.
Or you could mute the track.

Either try instantly the shortcut for "None" global time quantization (cmnd+0) or try right clicking on clip and deactivate. u can also assing a keyboard's key or MIDI control to deactivate button.
