There is underlying, inexhaustible annoyance at all times about this, and she has infinite capacity to store and recall things that I do that she regards as transgressions to ensure a steady supply of annoyance.

Honestly, some of these things I do which I may agree are wrongs (like when I say I'll do something but I blow it off) but others which are so not.

So, I am always at some level of "defcon", just usually not this heightened. For this particular action, her justification is that "I have some property of hers that I have not returned".

I have no clue what it is. I asked her to let me know what it was, so that I might return it, she replied "I asked you for it five months ago" which she may or may not have actually done, but she knows that I wouldn't remember anyway because it is really just not that important, she is just *making* it that way.

So it's like that.
