my first solo EP !!

Post by arbee » Sun Sep 05, 2010 1:33 pm

ello,

Let me present you my first solo release. A short 6-track EP made mostly of 2010 tracks. It's somewhere in the electro / hip-hop / IDM kind of things. It's a free Bandcamp release... so just listen and tell me what you think. I've been in a band for a while, but this is my first solo release. I am currently working on a ambient release, I will keep you guys updated on this other release...

give me your comments,
thanks for listening !

I like it. Good collection of sounds, especially on the 1st two tracks.

My only comment on them is that I felt that the mixes are a little heave handed on the low freq's... that would need to be tamed down a bit. Other than that, I really like what you did. Good job!

thanks a lot guys, it's so nice to have feedback (even negative comments).

you're right toonman, the low end takes a lot of place, I guess it's something I like but I will keep that in mind for my next release.

:D

Okay. I mentioned it because it actually unbalances the tracks quite a bit... I like the fact you kept everything intact in the sub-50hz range, but it's a bit to prominent... maybe you can try compressing the low end further? Just my $0.02... cheers!

Quite liked it! Skilled production, and comes across nicely even on my computer speakers!
Cheers!
