wrong loop info of newly recorded clip

while i am recording i have the clip pane up showing me the recorded audio as it comes in. after i stop the recording the data under the loop pane is sometims not acurate.
from showing me:
pos: 1.1.1
end: 3.1.1
lengh 2.0.0

to sometimes something completely odd- like 16.3.3 (when i am quant to bars)

and then sometimes useing the same methode recording i always do: its right.
