Hello. I am a newbie to Ableton and tomorrow night is my first gig with ableton as the main core of my live set. my synth player has a roland gaia and he plays a riff that has an arpegiator on. he is currently using the tap tempo to keep the timing but it is not as accurate as it should be.
so i thought i would plug a midi cable from the midi out of my soundcard - motu traveller to the midi in on the roland gaia.
i thought this would then automatically give the roland gaia the tempo that ableton is running at (i have set sync tempo on my synth turned on). however still no. i went into midi settings and turned everything that looked like it should be turned on but still no.
any help would be much appreciated as gig is tomorrow night.
