I like this one-- some dreamlike backwards spoken vocals now and then might be a cool addition.

Just what I was thinking about but... didn't intend to do a real tune, but... we'll see.
Thanks for listening to my stuff!

Yes, I've heard the good "fuzzy math".
May be a little qliché wise the samples I used, but they are the first I find in my "voice" directory (after "accapellas")...

I used this:

http://bluemoose.greatnow.com/Bidule/C_ ... ced.bidule

To make this rythm snippet:

http://bluemoose.greatnow.com/Live/Exam ... synced.mp3

One thing inside the layout that may be useful is a gate scaler.
Expanding a (note on) gate is just a matter of expanding it, but reducing it has some logic to it, because you don't know when it will end.
So I did a gate sampler, the reduction is done in relation to the previous gate time.

Some other more or less obscure things inside.

Post Music done with Live

Post by Beatworld » Mon May 30, 2005 8:48 am

Finally got my new album finished....

www.beatworld.com.au

There are 3 albums on the site. The new album is called The Only House in the Street. Of the 4 tracks which can be heard online from that album, Down and Out (track 1) and Political (track 5) were done entirely with Live and Bubblin' Dub (track 10) was mixed with Live.

All the other tracks, including all track from first 2 albums , were done with Cubase VST.

Hope you get some enjoyment out of it !!

Any comments, feedback or questions welcomed .

cheers

Murray :D

are the drums kinda random and not in time on purpose or is there a glitch in the mp3.....I really don't mean to be critical, I am just curious ??

I mean the parts at least up to about the 4 minute mark

It is called "The Truth is Out There", X-Files inspired of course!!!

Hi,

To be honestly - it is like it is. I was setting the beat function to 8 or 2, not to 16...thats why its out of rythm a bit :-)
