Reaktor help plz

So i try and connect these little sequencers and a lot times i can't get them to work. argh helps me lounge whores

If you have a few seconds view the video and tell my this doesn't work. I'm basically loading a synth and a sequencer and connecting them. or at least i think. thanks

I think its because SQ16 doesn't have a MIDI Gate/Pitch Out module connected inside..

That probably true... Can u explain how to do this? Monoliner works but others don't. I'd like to be able to fix one when I'd like to use it.

go into the structure and look for P and G ports at the right..
now insert a Note Pitch/Gate module and connect the G port..
not sure if the P does anything in this case because afaik SQ16 doesn't put out pitch..

dude you are helping me out big time. Finally figured it out.

SQ16 looked like a regular step seq but it just outputs one pitch. Not sure why that is cool or not... Either way i got it sending midi to another device. Going to try with the other sequencers now.

any tips on the "song position" issue?

as in getting the sequencer in Reaktor to know that the play head is at the begining of the measure each time i fire it?

I seem to remember seeing something on the reaktor forum about that, did you search there?

i did search there a little bit, but i feel like my awareness of Reaktor terminology is so poor i have a hard time navigating and "finding" what i'm looking for.

I don't have enough really cool sequencing devices in reaktor to really warrant the learning process, so i think i'm going to download some "sequenced synth" devices and just keep all routing internal.

How are the groove packs going? I hope well! Just grabbed the audio synth and had some fun with it. many thanks

Groovepacks , well sales aren't too great tbh, but i imagine that is more or less the case everywhere right now. And i've also been so busy with so many things going on at the same time that i can't put enough time just on that. That said, i've just finished a new live pack yesterday, it's online now, i will be doing anouncements here & elsewhere in a few hours or tomorrow. All this "marketing & social networking" side of things gives me a very strong headache!

yeah man i hear you there. I love plugins and live packs and toys in general, but the whole "economy" thing doesn't share my views.

I hope its fun for you to create them, and there's nothing wrong with building a little of your library while no one is looking.

Also there's a service called artist data, now part of sonicbids. It's used for bands to update multiple social networking sites simultaneously. Maybe it could be retrofit to update people on packs and stuff? i think you have enough free stuff and videos to put it in a different category than "spam".

I've barely scratched the surface to be able to recommend, but there is a all-time 100 & a hot 50 category in there.

From what i downloaded i liked an effect called resoton 2, a resonator as you can guess, and a crazy drone type thingy called verbwell.

talking about reaktor, anyone is experiencing strange behaviours when using it as vst in live?
On my laptop (macbook with snow leopard) often freezes when loading ensembles and have to save and reopen the project.
Reaktor 5.51 & live 8.15.
