where is the share live set?

per the movie, the share live set feature should be under the file menu. i am not seeing this. has the feature been discontinued? running live 8 suite 8.1.5

ever try a forum search? there's gotta be at least 50 topics about share.. i even replied to one last week that's basically the same as yours.

to save you the time, share is gone, no idea when it'll be back. ableton bit off more than they could chew and didn't have the time to properly implement this feature. they recommend to 'collect all and save' and use dropbox until they re-tool the share feature (no eta on when/if that'll ever happen)

Well, if you are wanting to share your work with someone else using Live I suggest looking at http://www.dropbox.com as you get 2GB I think of free space. You can password protect a directory or make it only available to someone you give access to. And if I can find the link I could post it so you could join up, I'd get an extra 500MB and you would too (if not, when you send it to someone then you would). Not that I need that much space. They have larger storage available at a monthly cost as well. It also syncs up with your system when you load it back up. I use it between my desktop and laptop and have a buddy with access to a directory as we're working on a project together. Check it out.
