Midi events in clip view have gone black?!

Hello

The midi events in clip view have gone black and do not respond to editing - can someone help please.

I created a drum rack and assigned some samples to it and added some effects. I added a bit of groove from some groove presets and from some of my own samples. Then the events went black?!

Also please can you let me know if it is possible for there to be an option to make the position numbering in clip view match arrangement numbering when in arrange view. This is a real problem for me.

Ableton 8.1.5 (have updated to this now but problem occurred in 8.0.3)

When u remove the groove the notes are ok then?

Can u explain further the positioning >?

Thank you so much for yr message, a very speedy reply.

Ok there is no groove but events (some 32nd notes and 16th and triplet notes) dare still blacked out - instead of the normal event/note boxes which is white with a black outline and a name inside.

They cannot be edited at all.

I am not sure what else I can tell you but would appreciate any advice.

Have just read this in the 8.1.5 update bugfixes
"Fixed a visual bug that made MIDI clips entirely black while recording, but before the first note was input."

Suppose these clips are knackered then
