OK, this is one of the best things I've heard over here lately. Reminds me of Santiago and Bushido. HOT!! But you are missing the funk. Your shit's too straight. Make me bounce not march.

I like it too. I think Chi might be saying that the drums are too regimented. Adding additional percussive elements or some swing to the drums in general might add the funk he's talking about. Also some more variety in the drums would help loosen the track up, IMO.

BTW, I've been loving the Rokit song since I first heard it but have seen it elsewhere on SoundCloud. Are you also TheSketchBoard?

Yessir, I recently changed to the name Eskapade because TheSketchBoard is what I refer to my Digital Media work under. Thanks for the advice! I understand what you mean by regimented.. I like this track a lot, but have had trouble making it bouncy, I'm going to play around with the drums and see what I can do.
