Rewire DLL cpp (1080) Verify Failure (Cubase 5 Major problem

Hi !

I have a BIG PROBLEM with the new Live 2.02 on my G4 1,25 Ghz (Mac OS 9.2.2)
I haven t got this problem with the 2.01 update .

I use Live in SLAVE MOD in Cubase 5 VST 32 r1PB2 .
When i try to do it with the 2.02 version ... it doens t work:

When i Start Cubase , it "freeze" at start , and display a error message:
"Rewire DLL cpp (1080) Verify Failure"
I can t do nothing ...all my sytem is freezed ! I must force my G4 to reboot !

-How ti resolve It ?
-How re-install Live 2.01 (if it is no solution ).... ?

(i tried to Trash Cubase preference to resolve it...it doens t work)

Please could you help me ? It is urgent..

Hi TOF,

I tried it with Cubase 5.1r1 but could not reproduce your problem. So you should try to use the 5.1r1 version instead of a public beta version.

I've had this problem when trying to use Live as a rewire slave to Logic.
The same error message comes up - usually resulting a reboot or sometimes a full system freeze.

I know that the Logic rewire implementation is apparently dodgy - hopefully this will be fixed in Logic 6 with Rewire 2.
