Hello,
I'm looking for a stepfilter. I love the one that comes with cubase, but It isn't listed as an available VST plugin in live. Is there a way to make it available for live? (maybe I just have to copy some dll from cubase folder to my VST plugins folder?)
Do you happen to know any other good VST stepfilters?
Thanks guys.

Turn up the radio. Turn up the tape machine. Look into the sunset up ahead. Roll the windows down for a better taste of the cool desert wind. Ah yes. This is what it's all about. Total control now.

Actually, there's a freeware plug that was designed specifically to replace stepfilter: http://www.analogindustries.com/mt/software.html
The steps are controlled via MIDI notes, so some routing of channels is neccessary.
Also, using autofilter with quantize on, then setting the freq or other controls in clip envelopes (or even arrangement view automation envelopes) is very step-filter-like in sound . . . different interface though.

stepfilter? for live!?
in live any filter is a stepfilter. just use the clip automation with draw mode on and select the cutoff parameter of the filter of your choice. how much more stepfilter do ya wanna get?

I use slippers. They filter my steps.
