IT's hard to give you feedback because I don't know how much of that was just sampling versus you. Don't get me wrong I steal plenty. The over all vibe was hot. You may be talented or just a good thief. I would like to hear more.

Re: FIRST /(and now second!!!)SONG WOULD LOVE CRITICISM!
Hey So I only sampled the two acapella tracks from the two songs ( biggie/the cardinals)! All the music is original! I used collision/operator/impulse + the acapellas. I'm putting up a rough rough rough demo up 2nite of my new song lmk what you think of that one as well. I just cant seem to think of an acapella for it right now!!

As always feedback is greatly appreciated!!

Hmm, which parts did you use operator, collision and impulse on? It all sounds sampled and in mono!

You did a good job of it putting it all together
I guess I'd like to hear it get to more of a conclusion
more mixing of the vocals together & what not
But I have a hard time with that myself
Great start though!

@Housemonkey
Hey so I lied the opening synth you hear in the intro I used sampler for but the original wave sounds very different.
The second part of the song uses an operator synth. When the bass drops with the second synth for the first time collision starts and its the "popping noise". And I use impulse for just the percussion.
The only actual audio files are the wave used in sampler and the acapellas!
@Dharma
I would really love to finish a song with well mixed vocals but it is very difficult!
Thanks for the kind words!

Re: FIRST SONG WOULD LOVE CRITICISM!
ok so i gave it a listen... got some nice things going on as well as some not so nice things.
First the nice things -
* Some good melodies backing each other up
* Some original sounds make it more fun to listen to
* Ok structure
the not so nice things -
*Repitition. Too much of it. This is something i struggle with myself, just keep plugging away with creativity trying new things to add variety
*WAYYYYY too much compression on the ducking synth line that comes in
* Structure.... although this is something that will get better with practice, try to have a better definition to the structure of your song next time
* Sounds don't really make sense together
Overall, for one of your first tries, very nice. Keep at it, they only get better!
