taking a class with a well know engineer but the class material is in protools.. I've opened up the protools session and basically want to bounce each track as a individual wav/aiff file so I can just import into Ableton where I am more comfortable mixing.. I thought this would be straight forward but I am having problems exporting.. I've tried the region thing in the side but all it does is export all the individual files, not the tracks.. i hope that makes sense.. basically, if I have a song that 's 3 minutes long with 5 tracks, i would be able to import those 5 tracks, each 3 minutes long so I just line up everything in ableton.
anyone?
stupid Protools question
Re: stupid Protools question
If none of the tracks have processing on them you could just consolidate them (Shift+Apple+3) then export them (Shift+Apple+K).
