theyre busy doing something more important such as finshing implementing all of our feature requests into Live 5 because theyve planned to announce it at the NAMM summer session this year. it will have multiple set support that open in different tabs, track grouping, scene grouping, follow actions for scenes, option to export as mp3 (but not use in a set), more effects, a freeze function, more professional midi editing, a new version workflow that allows you to save different "sketches" of a clip within its ASD file, option to make return tracks replace sent audio (right now its just additive when you send audio to the return tracks), your recent sets will be in the file menu, a new "effects box" in the effect view that has option in it such as bypassing all effects in that track and a cool global dry wet knob for the effects in that track so that you can fade in a ton of effects for a track at once, a new effects box in the clip view as well (a fourth hide/view button will be added for this section) and it will allow you to add effects to just that clip), ctrl click on an envelope will make splines, crossfader curve control (and control click on the crossfader will make it much more precise), more color choices for clips (and ability to color tracks as well), Alitivec optimization, visual routing feature that when you turn it on will show you which tracks route where with oraganized bright lines, more skins (including a crazy skin that flashes black and white super fast), and some other really great new features.
