Live 8 and Komplete7

Post by taras van de voorde » Sat Sep 25, 2010 11:00 am

H!

Since last week i've installed Komplete 7 on my iMac i7 (16 gig ram) running Live 8.1.5.

Before that i had no problems at all but now, Live constantly drops out.. Sometimes even with ' out of memory' or as "a serious error occure"

To be clear, i bought Live 8 (also updated it to 8.2 but having the same problems) and i also bought Komplete 7 (icluding updates)

Yes there are some cracks on my Mac (so i have some double plugins from the Native Instruments company)

It could be the cracks, but how the hell can i delete them? When i delete the files they are still visible in vst/au list in the Live8 browser?

Anyone who could help me with this?

Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components, that's where the AU files are saved. Libraries are stored somewhere else.
Buy the software you're using, you're bound to get better support that way. Also, it could be the crack that's causing crashes (have you actually bought Komplete now?).

Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

is empty on my mac..

it seems like everything is in my audio units folder but after deleting them they are still visible in my Livebrowser..

Sorry, must've skipped the part about buying Komplete.
Are you sure you're looking at the Library of the HD and not the Library in your User folder?

That sucks... what are your specs and what percentage does your CPU usage hit when you get the drop outs?

Trash Live's preferences.cfg- that will start you off with a clean slate. And, I hope you've learned your lesson about cracks.

I don't blame him. He did it on a try before buy basis.
