Would you like a "Post Your Music Forum"

Let's leave the rules or lack of rules aside for a moment and just answer with a simple yes or no. Atleast we will get a gauge for how popular this idea is with how many people.

Maybe someone will be watching....

C'mon Guys n Gals!

Think about it... if there is a sub-forum devoted to people's tracks it will be sooooo much easier to search and navigate, rather than a multi page thread-monster!

ROCK THE VOTE!

(insert favourite rallying call from an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical here)

p.s. a while back yours truly posted a request for a tips n tricks section and it appeared in a week! the gods do listen....

Yeah, that's what we are working on. Supster came up with the brilliant idea to email them, which for some reason had eluded me. I guess I assumed to had already been done.

At any rate I sent an email with the request yesterday and am awaiting a response.

i reckon there should be the following pages:

- Djing with live (Beginner/advanced sections)
- Produceing with live (Beginner/advanced sections)
- post your own music
- Music in general
- tips and tricks
- wishlist
- live & other software
- resources (vsts, free sample library links etc)

this is an excellent idea.

ive considered posting one of my tracks before, but i feel like its just going
to get lost in the chaos.

only idea i have...2 separate threads:
one for tracks made using live
one for tracks made not using live(even tho i dont know why someone
would do this)

i never go in that thread, nor do i post in it.

way to time consuming to bother trying to find the posts with the promo/music ...

not worth my bother to post my stuff in there at the end of a 3000 post thread where it will get buried

i don't agree with this one, since producers and DJs using live have a lot to learn from each other (so do beginners and advanced users)

Agreed.

And this proposed music forum should not, in my opinion, be seperated into sub categories,
Just one forum for posting music, Dj mixes, whatever.

It does not need to be fancy, just something dedicated.

The poll is looking much better.

Still no word from Ableton regarding the email I sent out.
