Live not remembering warp info

Post by GodIsADJ » Wed May 11, 2005 12:58 pm

Hey everyone,

Ive just started using Ableton and im having a little problem. Ive warped two tracks so that they play nicely in sync when mixed together. But when i delete the song from the sequencer, or start a new set and want to use these tracks, they appear as if ive never warped them, no bpm info or warp markers.

These are currently the only 2 wav's im using, just to get a feel for the program.

The .wav.asd files appear in the same directory as the wavs but live doesnt seem to be recognising them..

Does the warp info have to be separately saved? Help!

Cheers.

Make sure you click "SAVE" in the Warp setting panel, otherwise the ASD files are stored as part of the song, and thus will be deleted with song.

Also, the .asd file has to have the same name as the original wav or AIFF file, including the WAV or AIFF postfix. If you change the name of the audio file, you need to adjust the .asd file name, too. --Kent
