Steve says November and you won't need it any sooner than that. Damnit.

the kids in the Unicorn Dust Mines started a revolt and hundreds of them escaped. Major set back for Apple.LoopStationZebra wrote:Okay. It's Fall now.
Where's my fucking iPad update with multitasking?
a spoke person for Apple has described the situation as "most inconvenient"

Re: My New iPad: Daily Reports!
Sombody in the TouchAble thread said they were running a beta of the new OS on their iPad. Why the Hell would you want to put something as filthy as a beta on an iPad?!?

I'm fine with competition but blackberries have to be the least "fun" of the lot and the general public doesn't want "professional". I think a large screen Droid might be cool.H20nly wrote:uh oh...

Pffft.
I'll give the BlackBerry PlayBook another 3 months before an announcement is made that the project has been put on indefinite hold.
Which would bring the number of failed iPad competitor devices to something like 20.

And would the competitors be so bold as to green light an app such as this

We've moved so far past cool shit that they have to release such things while they give the competition a breather to come up with better apps for their devices.

whew... I was scarred for a minute that you actually might have to shut your pie holes about this i tablet thingy that can't DO really anything but run single instances and download. Kinda like a phone. Lucky for me I have your blind faith to keep the hype strong. I mean hey... how can you deny honesty like this:

Re: My New iPad: Daily Reports!
The only point competitors should make with their campaigns is "It's cheaper" because for a lot of people that is what it comes down to. Again, the average consumer who isn't on places like this forum frothing at the mouth about specs and little add-ons.
Even the most recent campaign for the Kindle which taks a jab at the iPad because it's hard to read in sunlight (valid) couldn't just stop there. They could have also pointed out the valid point that the iPad feels like a brick in weight by comparison, but no. Instead the hot chick by the pool says "Only $139" and I have yet to meet a hot chick where price is a concern or a point of discussion because they never have to pay for shit.

The Zumocast app (runs on both iPad and iPhone) is the shiznizzle. Run a little background application on your computer(s) and point it to your media folders and stream everything wirelessly even over 3g as long as your computers are on, and no fucking around with weird router bullshit. It just works.
