Unplugging Macbook from Soundcard (Audio Disabled)
Unplugging Macbook from Soundcard (Audio Disabled)
When I unplug my Macbook Pro from my USB soundcard it usually disables the audio engine in Live so I have to go into the preferences and choose "Built-in" in order to get any sound. Plugging back in usually yields the same results. I find this to be kind of a nuisance. I'm told that this is something that doesn't effect other audio apps on the Mac, like Logic for example. I know there must be a workaround for this. I was thinking maybe Soundflower or aggregate soundcard or something like that. Am I warm? What's the best solution?

I wonder this too.
Would be nice if every time I plug my MOTU in/out I did't have to reselect it in preferences.
