this is the kind of post you make when you're drunk
except it's 2:30pm and i'm at work; not drunk. just stoked.
for those people who have had a lot of questions/interest about using Live as an adjunct to traditional djing (that includes w/ Final Scratch etc), get copies of this set. it's 2 mp3s, 5 hours of complete sickness. via richie's 2(+?) laptop thing they mash and mangle things back and forth with the signature groovy driving minimalness. damn it's fun. lots of examples of what Live can do in real time. f sasha. =)
also fyi, richie's next de9 project (DE9: Transition) will be out in september. 70 min CD and 96 min 5.1 surround high def audio DVD. he is REALLY excited about this project.

Is it over on Tresor?
I'll have a look thisevening when I get in from school. I'd love to hear it.
Nevermind, found it and started the download. Will resume when I get to school.
Looking forward to hearing this. Thanks for the heads up Drush.

you'll have to look around. 4four.org had it, don't know if they still do.

Anyone who's been to tresor knows how great that place was and this is a little bit of something even more special from the last night at the place!

livesets.com has it in their forums techno links page
you must register to see that section of the forum.
and you kinda gotta jump through a hoop to get to the file - but all the directions are there.
downloading now at a cool 220kbps (pretty good for overseas and what is probably a very popular file)
edit: that link gives me 2 files, totalling only 30 minutes of music.
Drush - did you have more than this? or are we dealing with the same .rar file?

Hey Adam, check over at 4four.org, thats where I went. The 2 files I have are part 1, 2:42 and part 2, 2:15 so you should definitely have a good 5 hours of tunes.
Currently downloading Magda at Fuse in Brussels and Hawtin Live at Mint Punta del Este, Uraguay as well. Having a listen at the Hawtin Uraguay set as I write this and its off to a bumpin start.
I'm looking forward to checking that forum out, thanks again for the heads up drush.

he's right, you should have part 1 = 2:42 and part 2 = 2:15. about 5 hours of music, def not 30 mins
fyi, that Uruguay set has been often mislabeled lately. and at least one of the files is him but it aint the right set and the file itself contains a lot of dead air.
