I can't think of any of my plug-ins that I've thought are "must owns", except one: Kore. Kore is the perfect compliment to Live. But of course only if you tend to use other plug-ins. The only plug-ins I've never dreamt of selling are Komplete (since V2), Omnisphere and Trilian. And Maschine but that's hardware too. Most things I've at least debated whether I've needed. Even the great Zebra and Alchemy I've had a split second where I've wondered if I need them, but I would never ditch them either. Oh wait, I'd never get rid of Poly-Ana either. But I don't consider any of them to be must owns.

If I was on a desert island and could only have one plugin, it would probably be delay lama.

I.M.O. the forum gets bad with doubles and triples posts, specially about things like this.

David, with respect, you've been frequenting these boards for a couple of weeks. I've been here 4 years and no word of a lie, we get about several of these threads every month and the exact same responses. You might as well make the plugin thread a sticky to prevent wasting bandwidth and duplication.

If you think I'm nasty, you ain't seen nothing yet, I'm a veritable ray of sunshine compared to some users on this forum, especially in The Lounge, which can get like the Wild West sometimes (and is both fun and potentially horrifying because of this).

Regards.

JAMM - do we need to have a new VST ticker flashing across the bottom of the message board then with prices changing in realtime for sales, like a stock market ticker ? KVR is a good place to go for plugins.
I'm not interested in hijacking a thread, but to respond - I'm not saying you're the only person on the forum who has ever said something nasty to another user. And no, I don't think that what you said was terribly offensive, just rude on the surface. Please remember that sarcasm rarely (if ever) translates well into written form.

One would think. Yet these lists haven't changed in about 2 years. Maybe somebody might start favoring one plug-in over another but the total plugs listed remains the same, and every plug-in is listed by the time the thread meets it's death.
