Yet I use OS X for playing live, because it's got protected memory and doesn't crash and burn the way OS9 can.
PLEASE oh PLEASE can't we use the program on both OS9 and OS X on the same machine?
I don't use pirated software (Very important to support the authors! Some of my friends are programmers and I know it's hard work!) but sometimes the limitations a company puts on its own product lead me to understand why people used cracked versions. (besides being too cheap to buy their instrument instead of stealing it) Thank god you don't have to use a fkkin' DONGLE with Live!
Some of these issues just slap the wrist of the person who purchased the software. I'm not a famous musician or a big recording studio, so I can't afford to buy 2 installs of Live.
I say these things not to be disrespectful to Ableton... just to bring up an issue that has been bothering me for a week, since I purchased the program.
If I'm wrong, and I can install Live on both my OS9 and OSX systems, please tell me how and I'm sorry I was uninformed...
