Pulling a PC Session up on a Mac...

Post by thesounddisciples » Sat May 14, 2005 11:37 am

How do I do this? I saved my session on my PC straight to a disk. Then took it to the studio which has a G5. when I loaded the CD in with my session on it loaded my project but there were no sounds. What am I doing wrong? How do I get the sounds to load up as well as my project?

Thanks

i have no problems doing this with an external HD. guess it will have something to do with directories, not?
it's still computers. if you save a live set, burn it to disk, open it on another machine, Live will look for the for the sounds in the original folder.
with a external HD, you take the same folders with you.

you will need to relocate the sounds, i'm afraid.

Make sure you are saving your live set as self contained.
