Take a good long read at this thread... http://oldforums.presonus.com/showthread.php?t=12996

And just take an additional look at all the problems with the universal control in this forum --> http://forums.presonus.com/forums/show/32.page - Pages and pages of the same shit... Theres a firmware issue with these UC drivers... we've proved it on several different machines... We figured this out awhile ago.. This isn't nothing new..
Indeed, Presonus mobile is excellent interface, lots of ins for the size etc, unfortunatelly only in theory. Horrible latency, see my little test report in another thread, noisy phone out. Probably lousy quality control- mine was already in repair. Half baked software-while OK on windows on OSX the mixer cannot be resized and strips 1-4 are not visible.
Get RME and if on limited budget Echo Audiofire- reliable hardware, good support, drivers.

Got a tc konnekt 6 here runnin well on a ricoh 1394 chipset. Thought I was gonna have to get a pcie card to run it but not so. I believe they use the same converters and preamps in all their konnekt interfaces. Recently they've put out a lot of driver updates and most issues have been sorted out. Ok i'm havin trouble typin on tiny screen so i'll leave it there but good interface, nice reverb too. :)
