8.2 crashing when loading VSTs
Never had any problems before with Absynth 4 or Battery 3 but Ableton, as far as I know, will not allow me to load them in my VST folder at start up ever since I upgraded to 8.2. I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit)and I generally run Ableton as Administrator so as to have access to my I.K. Multimedia plugins. Has anyone else experienced this, is it common at all as I cannot seem to find any references to these problems here or on the N.I. forums at present? I would love some assistance with this! Thank You! Oh yeah, the problem with Battery seemed to arise after upgrading to the latest version available from N.I.

I've read many people saying that IK multimedia plugs have been causing many issues with ableton 8.
Check ableton's post about which plugs work and don't. It's an old post but I assume that if it was fixed that they would change it.
I'm on win 7 64 bit and have no issues with komplete 6 (everything is up to date)
