Track defaults

I think the concept of having track defaults would fit perfectly into Live.

Like having defaults for instruments/fx in the Library/Defaults folder, please make the same possible for tracks - separated into Audio and MIDI track (and maybe return). Then, these settings should be used whenever you create a new track.

The benefits:

1. You can setup your favourite fx chains as default. One may want to have eq/comp always available instantly or use saturation/limiter on each track.

2. You could always get instant sound with your preferred synth by clicking cmd-shift-T

3. You could always have your tracks input set to "No Input" or something else on new audio tracks.

I know that similar functionality is yet given by dragging als files from the browser into the current set, but I want to have it accessible via the usual key commands.

Gotta bump this! This is a very useful feature that I would love to see added. And if at all possible, let it apply to grouped tracks as well.

I would LOVE to see this feature added to Live – just spent extensive time searching and was surprised to find out there's no way to do it currently.

In Live 9 you can save any audio or midi track as a default. Then any new audio or midi track you create, has that stuff on it.
