Ableton 8 track Jumps when pressing play Maudio Xponent

Hi,
Hope someone can help please. When I DJ out I use the clubs M Audio Xponent with Ableton 8 on my Sony Vaio, with windows vista. Sometimes when I press play on the next track im going to bring in, the current track hesitates slightly. It does it if I press play on the m audio or with my mouse on the laptop. Its really annoying. Sometimes it will do it for every track for an hour then be ok.

What do you have your global quantization set to?

Hi, Ive just checked and the global quantization is set at 1 Bar.
