I think you've hit the nail on the head there... I'd say if your using a PC buyer beware. :( It's a real shame as the videos are really good.

Coincidently MacProVideo just released 2 new Live tutorials.

Ableton Live 8 TNT1 (Their TNT series are power user of hidden techniques)
Designing Sounds for Dance Music

Live specific tutorials are actually their weakest (meaning total count) offering. It's cool to see they are stepping it up.

Actually my last one only came out a few months ago, maybe I forgot to tell the forum about it.

But I've just finished one on Operator (and mainly synthesis in general) which should be going up in the next few days if anyone's interested! ;-)

Yep. Or at least I know they did an iPhone one, so I assume they did iPad too…. but I'll check…
just letting you know it's up there now!

+1 on the MacPro bashing. No 64 bit support on the bloody NED on pc, so you'll have to stream the videos. The quality is sometimes not enough so it's very difficult to see what parameter is adjusted. And I don't have internet connection on my music computer so I have to use two computers. Also, they quite often promote upcoming videos with big discounts if you buy in advance. But they can't keep up with their own release date and wouldn't give another one. One time it took almost 2 months until the video finally appeared (with no official status updates between).

I like Quantize Courses videos: http://www.quantizecourses.com/pages.php/ Very professional and goes deeper than most of the other tutorial videos.

:D yeah thanks for that - it actually never even occurred to me to just get their blurb and paste it… I guess it would have been a bit weird talking about myself in the 3rd person after all these years on the forum!

If you want to immediately jettison your set of production skills from beginner to intermediate in the span of 8 weeks check out Quantize. Really good course.
