It had the beginnings of some cool stuff, but it just went oooon and oooon with no progress. Like Andrew said ; lazy.

apparently, the new daft punk album isnt the "real" new album.
the real one comes out this summer.
Daft punk fell out with there record label but to get past the contractural details of number of albumsdeal they punted out the album youve got. and i think you def tell...

Check out Etiene de Crecy - "Super Discount 1 & 2".
French house is alive and well.

just had a listen... its shocking compared to their last 2 albums! Just sounds like theve shoved the whole thing through a bit crusher as well. I quite like "Robot Rock" (even though it doesnt really do anything) but the others I just wouldnt even want on the stereo.
I think what jeskola said is probable as this is just sub standard stuff.

Falling out or not I wouldn't put out crap just to spite my label. Bad business imo.

I'm torn on it. I gave it a listen when it first came out, and didn't like it much. Then after a while, I went back to it and relized that there is definitely some good stuff on there.
However, it's no Homework.

Of course, I don't think Daft Punk will ever be able to match the genius that was Homework.

your probably right.. though I did like the second album, it didnt break as much ground or sound as fresh as 'Homework' but there where some really good tracks on it for me... though "One More Time" is in my all time hated tracks!

A terribly over rated band. I have never liked them. But, that is just my opinion.
