Sync Ableton with external Hardware

Hello Everybody,

is anybody outthere who can tell me how to sync ableton with external
MIDI-Hardware or a second computer.
My mainproblem is that i can´t set a MIDI Output.
I got an Evolution EV-10 Breakoutbox and the Microsoft GS Wavetable SW
but they are always greyed out so i cant choose them, and the selector for remoteoutput and syncoutput are greyed out too.

please help

Hi skati,

if they are "grayed" then they are not active. Is it not possible to activate them by clicking on the gray quad left of each's output name?
