I'm hoping he'll speak more about this today.
I did notice that in iTunes you can now send out the audio to multiple sources at the same time, in my case my MBP, Mini, and AppleTV. This kind of thing is essential when you occupy 2/3 of an 1,100 square foot 2 bedroom apartment.
I'm going to have to test that out though because the delay rate on our cable TV signal is completely retarded from room to room. Don't know if internal wifi streaming will be any better.

Does anybody have Air Display and if so have you tried it with something like Logic and it's detachable mixer (unlike stupid face Live)? No need for controller emulations if you can just have the mixer directly on your iPad.

Can we discuss email syncing? If so, then do.
I have my general purpose gmail account, but I also have several other email addresses that aren't web based. I don't currently have those synced on my idevices but am considering. My concern is with having those accessible on 3 different devices there will be times when an email pops up on my iPhone (for example) and I don't want to reply to it just yet. I'd prefer to on my MBP later. But if I checked it on my iPhone does that mean it won't appear at all or as a new email on my MBP? Very confused about how this works.

BEEEEEEEEAAAATTTTSSSSS!
On all my email accounts - including gmail and yahoo - if I get a piece sent to my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook and then read it in one, it will stay on all other devices as unread.
If I delete it on one of my mobiles, it deletes it on the other mobile but NOT from the MacBook.

mark as unread
surely there is an app for that if the device(s) are lacking this in the options menu.
stop thinking so hard... you're gonna hurt yourself.

I HAVE SOME MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE REMOTE APP (At lease the iPhone version, didn't try with the iPad version) (When trying to somewhat DJ).
I was trying to do a little balcony to living room DJing with the Remote app this past weekend and:
1. It doesn't show you how much time is left on the current track.
2. If you attempt to get the next song ready and the phone falls asleep it has to reconnect and you're starting from scratch with your search.
2 bummers.

Totally understood and concur about the Remote app. It's a bitch reconnecting each time. I also wish there was a 'CONNECT TO WIFI' hot button we could use in place of an app icon. This would allow me to easily switch between normal network and iTunes network.
But the Remote app is still a fucking GODSEND.
And remember, with the new AirPlay and IO4, there's no connecting to a network first.
WIN!

Still no decent GPS app for the iPad. I've been waiting for Navigon because they have the maps that you download right to your iPad - thereby eliminating the need to use your 3G minutes. Bummer.

How about the iPhone navigation apps and just 2X it?
However, I just realized a few months ago after having been a passenger in a car using the maps apps on my iPhone that it makes the current position of your car a pin on the map even over the satellite images that moves when you move. I've even zoomed in way close and when you slightly move at a stop light the pin moves too. Sure it doesn't bark out directions but it's still pretty sick as fuck considering I used to think it was just a step by step navigator that doesn't change in real time and is slightly more useful than a printout from mapquest.

I heard about a book earlier today I wanted to check to see if there is an iBooks version of. I only had my iPhone at work so I used the iBooks app on that to check (who the fuck would read a book on the iPhone?) and it is available so I downloaded the sample just to remind me later. When I got home I went to the iBooks app on my iPad and downloaded the sample on there as well...and when I opened it, it instantly went to the page I was on, on my iPhone. I didn't sync either of them to my computer or anything. It just knew.
Also I find it quite silly when the sample gives you a certain number of pages and a good amount of those are the title page, token blank pages, copyright page, dedication page, another blank page, and table of contents. So on a 16 page sample you might get 2 pages of actual book.

I'm amazed right there with you. That's the awesome GPS/data signal combo working for us.

is right.
I'm using my iPad as reader all the time now. Fucking love it. The amount of great vintage, free scifi ePub books that's out there is INSANE.
Reading the free version of Heart of Darkness at the moment.

Read a rumor that Apple might attempt a hostile take over of Sony with part of the 51 billion they're just sitting on.
Personally, if Apple was going to do that type thing I wish they would do it with LG.
