wanted - great samples

Post by Farr » Tue May 17, 2005 1:14 pm

Hi everybody!

All I'm after are 3 simple things?!!

1. a sample like the bass drum at the start of The Crystal Methods' 'The Ameriacn way' (4th track on 'legion of boom')

2. a sample like the snare drum at the start of The Crystal Methods' 'The Ameriacn way'

3. a bass sample I can drop into simpler that sounds as big as the one on Gwen Stafanis 'What are you waiting for'

Please - can anybody help? - I've got songs, but no sounds!!!

Farr

You'll probably get a load of people telling you to fire up a synth and make your own.

Either that or try a sample CD.

you could try some of the freeware emulators for old arcade machines that run on PC. You'll need to find somewhere to download the original ROMS.
Usually they are total ports of the arcade machine code - so you can get all the classic "ball of fire" sounds coming from your PC :)

You used to be able to audition them all on the old SNES version, you might be able to rip that rom off the net a little easier. I'll trudge around for them, I'm damn sure I had this CD I got off an old console mag in like 1993 with all the tunes and samples from the game on it during the insane streetfighter craze.

HADOOOOKEN muthaf*^%a!

Man, I love that game - can you believe my mate just SOLD his Streetfighter alpha console machine for €500?

Muppet...
Cheers,
Phil
