upgrade to suite and have questions

I just downloaded suite and have installed..the problem is that non of the new things are showing up?

My other question is do I delete my previous library before I installed the new suite version? Is that what is causing the problems?

I'm running a toshiba with vista. Kinda stumped here getting suite up and running.

Since ive had the problems i actually booted up the new suite and clicked on repair library. It is now adding stuff to the library, my question is : Is ableton updating my current library, or has suite created a new library in a different file location?

My other question: Is this going to fix the fact that there are no presets in any folders any more (effects, drum racks, synth racks and so on) Im a little confused as to what i need to do to get suite fully activated and functioning.

Hi, did you download Suite 8.2.1 "With sounds" or "program only?" Keep in mind that you'll need "with sounds" to get the Library if you don't have a previous Suite 8 install - you'll also want to download "with sounds" if you didn't already get the Suite 8.2 update, as there are major additions to the Library.

As to the presets, do you not have any at all, or are you missing specific ones?

Lastly, repairing the Libray will not create a new Library, but will make sure that your Library is complete. If you're missing content that you had previously, you might try checking to make sure your Library is set up correctly in Live - go to Preferences->Library to check the path that Live has for the Library.

this problem has now been resolved... i have started a new help thread about my axiom 49 2nd gen not auto mapping like it did with my older version of live.
