Getting ready to refinish my basement so I just moved my studio around... Still need to adjust my monitors although not the ideal placement it is the best I can do at the moment as I have to accomodate a couch in my studio which is nice to flake out on... This will be my live set up which will consist of the JX-3P (PG-200), Doepfer DarkEnergy, Machinedrum, MBase 01, Lexicon MPX01 (JX-3P Fx), and Behringer mixer... The Nord uMod is not used for anything but I was thinking of using it for Fx any suggestions?

nearly bought a mint´ish jx-3p without the PG last week, but i changed my mind and got a mopho instead, price would have been roughly the same if i had to buy the PG over ebay ^^

Your right no end panels... Picked up for $70 as it had been in a fire the end panels were missing and the pitch bender lever is melted but still works been thinking of adding wooden ones... Spent a few days cleaning the insides cos they were covered in soot... I am able to use the JX-3P PG-200 when seq'd via midi which you normally can't do by installing this... http://organix.inque.org/index.php?page=jx-3p-upgrade

The expansion kit is fairly easy to install and I was even able to have the guy change the firmware so the JX-3P would rx on Ch 14, 15, 16 instead of 1, 2, 3... Being able to use the PG-200 with midi makes this synth a great piece of gear for live use...

it's a T61.
I had plenty of irritating on and off crackles until I simply used a different usb port.
I had already used the crackling to justify the unjustifyable and order a decent soundcard.
luckily some internet tangent took me to an article reminding me about mac books having good and bad usb ports.
After "all right one last chance" for the old card I sent back the new package and am now guilt & crackle free.
funny thing is I had specifically chosen the first port for the strongest power it provided to my hd
the port I am using now is the one the hd liked the least

It is a snarling dogs "Moldspore" Wah plus Ringmodulator.
You can use them seperately or together,
and you can control the (simple) oscilator's pitch by a chickenheadknob on the side,
or with the big foot. some fun to be had


I never really used it a lot before, because the activated wah was too loud even at the lowest volume setting.
but now as a send effect that doesn't matter.
