New Footswitch Controller: 10 pedal, nano size, FCB killer!

Hah! Maybe not an FCB killer...

Looks interesting but one stomp with my shitkickers will probably send it into gear heaven.

And check out this mondo bizarro MIDI bow! Whoa.

The StringPort MIDI converter also looks incredible.

I like the look iof it, but I wonder about the rotatio0n and pressure control. If I'm standing up I don't think i can balance on one foot long enough to rotate my other foots tootsies around softly on the pad slowly increasing pressure for a filter cum phaser effect build...

More tap dancing!

Yes! I have feeling that this controller is for sensitive pony-tail men who perform barefoot or wearing socks.

All on top of a persian rug laid out nicely on the stage, of course.

Got my SoftStep this past Tuesday (11/2/2010)- Rediculously light weight and portable. I'm still trying to get the software figured out though. Coming from the Behringer FCB1010 where you program everything on the device, setting up the SoftStep is a little different since you set it up using the supplied SoftStep software and you need to set the output of the your midi commands to use the software IAC Driver Bus on your Mac (if using a Mac, not sure what to do on Windows). Anyway still trying to get it figure out but it seems to be quite robust.

Dude, you necrobumped bumped four different threads on this footcontroller to post that you got one. No big deal, but that's kind of odd because wouldn't you rather have all the comments in one place? Anyway, see one of the other threads for my comments. :D

yeah, guess you're right, lol. I didn't really think about it that way, LOL. I just posted where I thought those folks where following. For example, you may not have been following the "Finally a nice footswitch" thread. But you got an email cause I apparently cause I posted to the "New Footswitch Controller: 10 pedal, nano size, FCB killer!" thread which you are a part of. But all in all no worries, at least folks know about it. I see your point:)

Well, you see, whenever something really sucks, this is what happens. People post nonsense all over the place because they are shilling for the company, just to fool other people who have never even seen the product.

Happens all the time.
