Is the Mac Mini suitable for Audio Production?
Hey everyone, is the Mac Mini any good for Audio Production? I may look into it and it is fairly cheap.

I bought one last December and I'm running Ableton 8 and Logic 9 and it runs fine.

Yes - although it only offers dual core options at present.
If I was buying a new machine, it would have to have a minimum of quad core - with all the latest cool but juice sucking plugins, if you don't want to be freezing tracks all the time, I would wait for a quad core mac mini or look at something else (many windows options).
The i7 Quadcore Imac is expensive, but if you get a refurbished one it can be reasonable and it's really powerful, you get a lot of performance and quality.
