Hi,
How do you force Live to rescan a vst that crashed in the past ?Live blacklisted one of the early Zen versions, but now it won't display it in the browser, no matter what. I've tried to rescan (with and without the 'alt' key trick), without success.
This is on OSX with Live 8.2.1

Re: VST rescan
Damn. Doing as you suggested indeed forced it to rescan more thoroughly. I even saw it saying "Scanning Local VST (Zen)" at some point... still no luck - Zen does not appear in the list.
It loads fine in EnergyXT, or even in Live as a (wrapped) AU, so I assume it is not something obvious (like the definition of the entry point). It looks like Live blacklisted it because it crashed, and now doesn't want to hear about it whatsoever.

Hi, please get in touch with Ableton technical support about this: http://www.ableton.com/support. Mention the plug-in specifically. Thank you.
