problem ableton and windows 7 : some cuts in DJ use

Yesterday in my DJ Live set , my ableton has bugged for 2 times with micro cuts of 0.5 sec !!!!
I don't kown why !
Have you a solution for me !

At first, thank you very much for your reply !
The problem appears when a track was playing !
We use Ableton in a Dj configuration ( 2 tracks and a lot of music files )
I don't think that it's a problem of soundcard because when the cut appears, the mesure counter also stop 0.5 sec
I used another ableton on a second slave laptop with midi synchro ( for playing sample ... we are two djs and we produce mash up in a live show ) and the second laptop also stop at this time ... also with micro cuts !
