That's quite a general question. Listen to beats you like and really study the timing of the hits and the relationship between the volume of the different sounds. Learn as much as you can about compression and eqing. Get some decent sounds... particularly kicks and snares. I rate the old roland drum machines, but theres thousands of people out willing to give or sell you decent drum samples... you could even just sample the drums you like, put them in impulse and creating beats with them.

Oddstep has a point, you won't get any magic answers that will turn you into a super-producer overnight, there's just too many little details that go into a solid beat. And as long as you keep practicing and reading up on it you'll get better. One tip I'm going to leave you with is to try and re-create the beat because that's a really good way learn how it was made. Once you try that you can ask some more specific questions.
Try loading the song into melodyne (there's a free 30 day trial), it will dissect the song into individual elements and make it easier to see what's going on. Delete certain parts to see how it changes the overall feel, pay attention to what key the drums are in, whether or not there are any ghost notes, etc.
The other half of it would be to learn about what effects go into a good drum beat, learning how compression works and how to apply it is a good start. Using EQ properly takes a bit more time to learn, but it can make parts complement each other better. Also, from my experience, it's better to try and get the basic drums (kick, snare/claps, hat) sounding good before you add any more. And after adding each subsequent part, work on making it fit with what you already have before adding any more.

guillermorage, honestly the best advice I can give you is to go on youtube, and search for Daft punk samples. Check all of them. Then you will know the secret.
