quick question about ableton devices that you can answer :D

Post by [email protected] » Thu Nov 18, 2010 4:50 am

okay so we all have ableton devices.

analog, collision, impulse.. etc.

each device, when clicked.. has a ton of different midi sounds/instruments in it..

why are they under different names like "impulse" and "collision"

im really confused at this..

i know that say.. for instance.. if you drag IMPULSE to the bottom, you can put drum samples in boxes to create a drumkit..

i understand that you can do that..

but can someone go into depth?

just wondering if there is another reason for all of these folders besides different sounds/instruments.

thank you!
