Hello fellow Ableton users/support staff,
I'm having some stability issues with Ableton and I'm hoping to sort them out. My setup:
2007 2.16 GHz C2D Macbook
7200 RPM harddrive
4 GB RAM (3.3 accessible)
Mac OS X 10.6.4
Ableton Live 8.2
Reason 4
Internal or Firebox audio, about 150 samples
The first problem I'm currently having is that I'll experience a dropout when new audio or MIDI tracks come in. Sometimes it can even be repeated, but sometimes it goes away after the transition is played through again. CPU meter is only sitting at 30-40% during these situations.
The other problem I'm having is that some live sets take 30+ seconds to load up, and if I load up Reason while Live is loading the set, Live crashes. One specific set was a bunch of chopped up samples from one source file, and it often crashed on loading.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Drew

Hi, have you tried updating to Live 8.2.1? There have been many bugfixes and other improvements/additions since Live 8.1.Djoust wrote:Hi, i'm having the same problem with live 8.1
